Who sells managed Redis
How we count
An in-memory cache and queue, with Valkey, its open fork, listed beside it. A size is the RAM per node, counted as 1, 2, 4, 8, 16, 32 or 64 GB when it is within a quarter of it; a node between two of them is on the browse page. Each row here is the cheapest paid Redis of its size.
A single node is one server. A database with a standby is two nodes or more, a primary and the copies that take over if it fails, and the price on the row is for all of them, so the two are never in one list. The typical single node costs $14.75/GB RAM a month.
71 of these rows are Valkey, the open-source fork of Redis that speaks the same protocol. They are tagged on every row.
Frequently asked
- What is the cheapest managed Redis?
- DigitalOcean Basic, $15 a month for 1 GB of RAM on a single node, checked 21 Oct 2026. With a standby, the cheapest is Aiven at $50 a month.
- How much more does a Redis with a standby cost?
- A standby is a second copy of the database on its own node, which takes over if the first fails, and you pay for both. Size for size, the cheapest standby pair here costs about 103% more than the cheapest single node. Each size's page lists both.
- What does the monthly price include?
- The nodes and the disk the row states, for a month, excluding tax. Disk beyond that, backups beyond the allowance and outbound transfer are billed on top wherever the provider says so, and each provider's page carries those rates. Redis keeps its data in memory, so some rows include no disk at all.
- How current are these prices?
- They are read every day from each provider's own price list or API; the readings on this page are from 21 Oct 2026.
