Managed database data health.
Every morning a GitHub Action reads 14 providers without a single credential: two public keyless APIs and one price list a provider publishes inside its own page. Each result is checked against the one before it. A fetch that fails or looks broken is refused, the last good reading keeps the section up, and the provider is named here with its own date.
The last refresh read 14 of 14 providers live on 21 Oct 2026, covering 811 databases. 10 of them publish a rate for what they bill on top of the monthly price, which is not the same as the rest charging nothing for it.

Prices being checked
A price that moves 30% or more, or would reach a top three, waits for a second reading at least 12 hours later and is checked against the provider's own page, and so is one that fails a check or that a reader reports. Meanwhile the database shows its last confirmed price and leads no list. Today 52 differ from the provider's page.

How the numbers are protected
- Only fetched numbers. An adapter throws on anything it does not recognise, and nothing is typed in by hand.
- A broken read is refused. A fetch whose row count falls below half the last one, or whose median paid monthly price for any one engine moves more than 2.5 times either way, is rejected and the previous reading kept. The median is taken per engine, because a provider that stops selling Kafka has not changed its Postgres prices.
- A changed price waits. A move of 30% or more, or into a top three, shows once a second reading agrees, and a first place goes only to a price confirmed or a week old.
- An hourly rate is shown for 730 hours. Where a provider publishes only an hourly rate, the monthly figure is that rate for an average month of 730 hours.
- One number, whatever the engine. Every price is a month for every node the row names, converted to dollars. The typical 4 GB single-node Postgres today is $69/mo.
- History on the published number. A currency moving is not a price change.
