How Kuraberu works.

Where the prices come from
A robot reads each provider's own API, public catalog or price page every day. No price is typed in by hand, and none comes from a reseller's copy or a press release. Prices are the standard recurring ones: no promotions, no first-month discounts, no coupons.
Prices in another currency are converted to US dollars at the European Central Bank's rate of the day, and are shown before VAT. Every page says when its prices were read. A price read more than three days ago can still be listed, marked with its date, but it can never be first in a ranking or called the cheapest; neither can a plan the provider shows as sold out.
Who gets listed
A provider is in the index only when all six of these hold:
- It sells something you can order yourself, at a price it publishes.
- It is an established company with a registered legal entity.
- Its prices are standard recurring prices, not promotions.
- Its prices can be read every day without logging in or running a browser.
- It is not a reseller or a deals-only host.
- Nothing in its record rules it out as a recommendation.
A provider that passes but cannot yet be read honestly every day waits on a list, with what would let it in.
How the rankings are made
Every list is ordered by a number the page names: the monthly price, the price per gigabyte of memory, the hardware you get per dollar, or for AI models the price of a million tokens, blended three in to one out. Nobody can pay to move up, and there is no score we could not show the working for.
A price below what the maker of an AI model charges is ranked only when the seller publishes a reason for it; otherwise it is listed and marked not ranked. A free tier is a limit, not a price, so it is never called the cheapest. Each section explains its own numbers:
What Kuraberu earns
Nothing from the providers. There are no affiliate links, no sponsored places and no paid listings, so a ranking has nothing to gain from its own order. A link to a provider is a plain link; we count how many people follow it, without knowing who they are, to learn which pages help.
The assistant
When you describe what you need, a small language model reads your sentence into requirements you can see and change. It never picks the answer: the ranking is done by the same rules as every other list on the site, over today's prices. Kuraberu keeps no copy of what you type, and leaves it out of its analytics.
The data is open
- The open AI dataset: every model and price, as JSON, under CC-BY-4.0.
- llms.txt: the site in one file, with today's answers, for AI assistants.
- The sitemap: every page, dated by the last time a price on it changed.
- Each section's data health page lists every provider's last read and whether it worked.
